The Group for the Technical Coordination and Defense of Independent Groups and Members (including Technical Group of Independents , Eng. Group for the Technical Coordination and Defense of Independent Groups and Members, abbr. CDI) was a faction in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1984. The parliamentary group united parties of different orientations, from radical liberals to left-wing Eurosceptics to nationalists .

After the European elections in 1984 , some of the members of the new rainbow parliamentary group joined.
