Frankensau

The Frankensau is a type of ship that was common on the Main at the turn of the 20th century . It was 37 meters long and 5.6 meters wide. The draft was about 0.35 meters empty and 1.1 meters when loaded.

Other types of ships common on the Main at this time were the smaller "market ships" and the Schelche .
