Frankenwall 23 (Stralsund)
The building with the postal address Frankenwall 23 was a listed building on Frankenwall in Stralsund .
The two-story plastered building was erected after 1815. After a partial demolition, only the four western axes were preserved. The ground floor was made of brick , the upper floor in half-timbered. The western narrow side had a tail gable and a wooden veranda extension from the end of the 19th century.
The house was located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund from 1999 with the number 260; In September 2013 the building was released for demolition due to acute danger of collapse and was later demolished.
