Voluntary exchange of use

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

With the voluntary exchange of use, the use of agricultural land is exchanged as part of a land management procedure , but not the ownership of it. The legal framework is regulated by sub- lease agreements. This means that the owner must agree to the sublease.

The voluntary exchange of use is a recognized land management procedure. It is funded differently at the federal state level. Eligibility requirements in Baden-Württemberg are, for example, recognized helpers and uniform ten-year leases. Funding is requested from the Landratsämter (Landratsämtern).

The goals are to round off the courtyards, larger farm areas and farm management close to the farm. Advantages of the voluntary exchange of use are

  • bigger strokes
  • less headwear
  • less set-up times
  • shorter ways
  • higher yields
  • Time saving
