Foreign language typesetting

As Typesetting refers to the desktop publishing with the pleadings foreign languages and their special characters and accents. The corresponding profession is called foreign language typesetting.

Country-specific characters are taken into account and letters as well as word, syllable and sentence separations are adapted in the foreign-language documents. There is no special training for the practice of foreign language typesetting. When recruiting on the labor market, therefore, in addition to digital sentence creation, either (native) language skills are required and / or a special proofreader is commissioned to carry out additional checks.
