It is run by the city's own Stadtgarten und Friedhöfe Magdeburg. In addition, the Kebbel Foundation Heimaterde, founded by the married couple Joachim and Ruth Kebbel, has existed since October 12, 2000. One of the foundation's objectives is to maintain the Beyendorf cemetery.
