A radio transmitter and evaluating unit (FEA) is for receiving VDV standard telegrams R09.16 of vehicles in public transport (tram, bus) for registration, and preemption of traffic signals ( lights ) of the road traffic . Analog or digital radio technology is used for transmission. Transmission formats FFSK (Fast Frequency Shift Keying) or NEMO (license expired in 2013) are possible.
