GGRZ Hagen

As the Joint Area Computing Center Hagen (GGRZ Hagen) , this state enterprise in North Rhine-Westphalia was available, in particular, to the state administration for the implementation of IT solutions.

The GGRZ Hagen was established as a state institution in 1977 in Hagen at that time as a state authority . On January 1, 2003, the company became a state company. At the end of December 31, 2008, the GGRZ Hagen was dissolved and incorporated as a branch in the State Office for Data Processing and Statistics (now State Office Information and Technology NRW ). Around 170 people are currently employed in the branch.

The main focus of the branch is the creation of software and the provision of data center services.
