Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania

GIPL (Gas Interconnection Poland-Lithuania) is a 522 km long gas pipeline that connects Poland and Lithuania . The pipeline is being built by the Lithuanian AB Amber Grid and the Polish company Gaz-System. The project aims to connect the Baltic gas network to the European networks. The construction was originally supposed to be completed in 2021. But delays are expected. The cost of the project is estimated at 558 million euros.
