The Garden City University College (dt. City of Gardens University) (GCUC for short) in Kumasi is a university college that is affiliated with the University of Cape Coast . The part of the name Garden City is the unofficial name of Kumasi. The capital of the Ashanti region is known as the city of gardens due to its comparatively large number of green spaces and trees.
history
In 2001 the College of Information Technology and Management Systems was founded by Albert Acquah. In 2004, it was granted University College status by the National Accreditation Board. A small campus with 12 rooms was built on a plot of land in Kenyase, near Kumasi. These rooms were equipped with the most modern information technology.
From October 2002 courses were offered here and various degrees in computer applications and hardware were awarded.
