Gary J. Brink
Gary J. Brink is an American art director and production designer who won an Academy Award for Best Production Design in 1980 .
Life
Brink began his career as an art director and production designer in the Hollywood film industry in 1973 with the film Like a Panther in the Night (Badge 373) and worked on the stage design of eighteen films until 1999.
At the 1980 Academy Awards, he and Tony Walton , Philip Rosenberg and Edward Stewart won the Oscar for best production design in Behind the Spotlight (1979) by Bob Fosse with Roy Scheider , Jessica Lange and Leland Palmer .
