Birth canal

The birth canal is the name given to the organs of the female sexual system that a newborn must pass through at the time of birth . The term is mostly applied to mammals including humans, but can be extended to all viviparous animals.

In the case of mammals of the birth canal includes the cervix (output from the uterus ) and the subsequent vagina . Often the term is also extended to the female pelvis (the pelvic canal), which is the main bone barrier for the child.
