Endangered district
According to German law, an endangered district is a special form of restricted area . If wild animals are suspected of being rabies , the veterinary authority must, according to the Rabies Ordinance, designate an endangered area, ie order it and make it publicly known within ten kilometers of the shooting, killing or discovery site. For this purpose, among other things, appropriate warning signs are placed at the town entrances and exits. According to the Animal Diseases Act, killed or found animals may not be used, but must be submitted to veterinary examination or disposed of harmlessly. In the endangered district, special regulations apply to the keeping of farm animals and pets, e.g. B. Leash duty for dogs and vaccination protection.
