Community waste incineration plant in Ludwigshafen

The communal waste-to-energy plant in Ludwigshafen is a waste-to-energy plant with 3 incineration lines that was built between 1964 and 1967 in Ludwigshafen . It supplies electricity and district heating for Ludwigshafen and can burn 210,000 tons of waste annually. The chimney of the plant is 125 meters high and is one of the tallest structures in Ludwigshafen.
