German-American Heritage Museum
The German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, DC is a German-American immigration museum dedicated to German immigration to the United States and opened in 2010. It presents the 400-year history of the immigration of German-speaking migrants from Europe and their at times great influence on American history. It is located in the Hockemeyer Hall building , which is named after a German businessman who immigrated in 1858.
