Protected landscape component tree row at Schitloh

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The protected landscape component tree row at Schitloh with a length of about 580 m is located north of Radlinghausen in the urban area of Brilon . The area was designated as a protected landscape component (LB) in 2001 with the Hoppecketal landscape plan by the district council of the Hochsauerlandkreis . The LB is surrounded by the open spaces around Radlinghausen and Madfeld .

description

The landscape plan explains the LB: “In the eastern part, the LB is made up of approximately 150-year-old, widely spreading and deeply branched individual trees (15 beeches, 1 multi-stemmed field maple, 2 smaller sycamore maples); in the western part it consists mainly of native shrub species with larger bird cherries. The two parts are separated by a farm road in the western third; however, this does not destroy the value of this woody stock for the natural balance and the landscape. With the extreme southwestern tip 2 solitary beeches are recorded. "

Protection purpose

The landscape plan documents the protection purpose: "Parts of nature and landscape are defined as protected landscape components, insofar as their special protection a) to ensure the efficiency of the natural balance, b) to revitalize, structure or maintain the townscape and landscape or c) to ward off harmful Actions is required. In certain areas, protection can extend to the entire stock of trees, hedges or other landscape elements. "

To prohibitions listed in the landscape plan: "After § 34 4 LG is the elimination of a protected landscape component and any actions that may lead to the destruction, damage or alteration of the protected landscape component prohibited.."

With the landscape plan, the commandment was issued: "The protected landscape components must be preserved through suitable maintenance measures, as long as the effort required is justified in consideration of their respective importance for nature and landscape."
