Ghost bat

As a ghost bat two unrelated species of bats are referred to, the name comes from the white or light-colored fur ago:

  • American ghost bats ( Diclidurus ) from the family of the smooth-nosed cantons (Emballonuridae)
  • Australian ghost bat ( Macroderma ) from the family of large-leaf noses (Megadermatidae)
