Giovanni Donadio (* in the 18th century in Gravina in Puglia ; † after 1875) was an Italian painter and composer .

Life

Giovanni Donadio was born in Gravina in Puglia at the end of the 18th century. He attended a Venetian art school.

It can be assumed that he died shortly after 1875. The works that bear his signature around 1890 do not correspond to his handwriting, neither in the signature nor in the painting technique.

Giovanni Donadio was mainly a portrait painter ; a few other paintings are also known, such as B. Still life .
