Sliding boiler operation
The sliding boiler operation is the simplest way to regulate the temperature in a boiler depending on the outside temperature. The shutdown temperature of the boiler is limited by the set heating curve in the two-point controller and the heat distribution system is directly supplied with the temperature at which the boiler is operated.
The heated heating water is conveyed into the heat distribution system by means of a circulation pump without the flow temperature being regulated beforehand by a mixing valve.
In contrast to heating systems with mixing valves , relatively high temperature fluctuations occur due to the switching hysteresis of the boiler. In addition, the minimum temperature of the heating system is limited to the minimum temperature of the boiler. Lower flow temperatures can only be regulated with a mixing valve.
