Glens of Antrim
The Glens of Antrim ( Irish : Gleannta Aontroma ), a region in County Antrim in Northern Ireland , consist of nine valleys that erase inland from the coast (English "glens" from Irish gleann ). These valleys are (from northernmost to southernmost):
- Glentaisie (Irish: Gleann Taise )
- Glenshesk (Irish: Gleann Seisc )
- Glendun (Irish: Gleann Doinne )
- Glencorp (Irish: Gleann Corp )
- Glenaan (Irish: Gleann Aithin )
- Glenballyeamon (Irish: Gleann Bhaile Uí Dhíomáin )
- Glenariff (Irish: Gleann Aireamh )
- Glencloy (Irish: Gleann Claidheamh )
- Glenarm (Irish: Gleann Arma )
