Bell foundry Eijsbouts
The bell foundry Eijsbouts (full name: Koninklijke Eijsbouts Klokkengieterij de Fabriek van Torenuurwerken BV , also Royal Eijsbouts called) is a bell foundry and tower clocks factory in Asten ( Netherlands ).
The company was founded in 1872 by Bonaventura Eijsbouts. Although he was trained as a watchmaker, he had a particular interest in very large clocks and started a workshop for making tower clocks. In 1893 his son Johan Eijsbouts joined the company; with him, the company was expanded to include a bell foundry.
