glu is an XMPP client for Windows . The development, initially under the name Xeus, has now been stopped.

Supported Operating Systems

The program makes use of the WPF libraries and therefore requires the .NET Framework 3.0 or higher. This is supported by Windows from version 5.1 ( Windows XP ).

Functions

In addition to communication via XMPP and XMPP transports , glu supports these functions, among others:

  • Display of user avatars in the contact list
  • Multi-user chat
  • a searchable message history
  • automatic sorting of spam messages using freely definable filters
