Gnadenhütten refers to two settlements founded by the Moravian Brethren in North America in the 18th century, each of which was the victim of a massacre:

  • Gnadenhütten (Pennsylvania) , attacked by Indians in November 1755 during the French and Indian War.
  • Gnadenhutten (Ohio) , where 96 Christian Indians were killed by American soldiers of the Pennsylvania militia on March 8, 1782 at the end of the American Revolutionary War.

The later event is primarily known as the Gnadenhütten massacre .
