Graeme Simsion (2012)

Graeme C. Simsion (* 1956 in Auckland , New Zealand ) is an Australian author .

Career

Simsion was originally an IT specialist and worked in the field of data modeling . He writes novels, plays and short stories.

His debut novel The Rosie Project (2013; Eng. The Rosie Project , 2015) became an international bestseller. The book is about a man with Asperger's Syndrome and his problems in conquering his great love Rosie. In 2012, he received the Victorian Premier's Unpublished Manuscript Award for the work. In autumn 2014 he released The Rosie Effect (dt. The Rosie effect , 2016), the successor to work his debut novel. Simsion's third novel, The Best of Adam Sharp (2016; The Man Who Dared To Dream , 2017) is about reviving an old relationship. He wrote his fourth novel, Two Steps Forward (2017; dt. Fortunately, there are detours , 2019) together with his wife Anne Buist. It is about a widow and a divorced man who find each other on a pilgrimage.

2019 The third part of the trilogy Rosie appeared The Rosie Result (dt. The Rosie result , 2020).

Simsion is married and has two children.
