Turn a sheet of paper with a rubber finger
The rubber finger or page turner is a thimble-like knobbed cover for the fingertip made of soft rubber , with which paper can be touched without wetting the finger. It is used to make it easier to count stacks of paper, e.g. B. when counting banknotes . It is also used for sorting letters and is therefore particularly widespread among postmen .
In the past , a page turner was also used to describe letters, numbering or the like that were glued to the edge of the page in order to facilitate the search for content.
