The gurgling (of throat = neck , from the Latin: gurgulio = gullet , throat , trachea ) is a method of cleaning the throat , especially with strep throat . To gargle, liquid is put into the mouth and the head is tilted back a little so that the liquid penetrates into the throat entrance. Then air is exhaled, which makes the liquid bubble.

Gargling is done with water or with special gargle solutions ( mouthwash ).
