HMAS Vendetta (DD08)

The HMAS Vendetta (DD-08) was a Daring-class destroyer .

The Vendetta was laid down at Williamstown Dockyard in Melbourne on July 4, 1950 , launched on May 3, 1954, and entered service on November 26, 1958.

The Vendetta was used as the only ship of its class in the Vietnam War . There it served the coastal blockade. The Vendetta was decommissioned on October 9, 1979.
