Hagenau (municipality of Asperhofen)

Hagenau is a village and cadastral municipality of the market town of Asperhofen in Lower Austria. The village has 40 inhabitants (January 1, 2020).

The street village is 4 kilometers southeast of Asperhofen and can be reached via the L2244 state road. The place consists of several agricultural properties and some single-family houses. In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1821 Hagenau is recorded with a few farmsteads - but at that time still under the name Hohenau .
