Haltern yearbook

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Haltern yearbook was created in the early years by an editorial team and has been published independently since 1994 by the Haltern local history researcher Uli Backmann. It mainly contains articles on the subject of holders by various authors. The articles are for the most part written in High German, to a lesser extent also in Low German , and some deal with the situation in Low German. The yearbook appears in December of the previous year. The first to appear at the end of 1986 was the Haltern Yearbook 1987. Only the 2017 yearbook was canceled. The series continues. The circulation is currently a good 1200 copies, each with around 200 pages. The topics include local and local history as well as contributions to Münsterland and Westphalia, culture, literature, nature and the environment, but also reports on records, anniversaries, clubs and club life, etc.
