Trading assets

Under trading assets refers mainly a bank-specific balance sheet items . Trading assets include all securities , promissory note loans , precious metals and derivative financial instruments used for trading purposes , provided their market value on the balance sheet date is above the purchase price. If the current market value is lower, they are recorded as trading liabilities on the liabilities side. The valuation results are recorded in the trading result (in the profit and loss account ).
