Hans-Martin Gutmann
Hans-Martin Gutmann (born June 21, 1953 in Goslar ) is a German Protestant theologian .
Career
From 1994 to 2001 he taught as a professor for didactics of Protestant religious doctrine and church history at the University of Paderborn . Since the summer semester 2001 he was professor for practical theology with a focus on homiletics at the University of Hamburg . His main research interests are homiletics and liturgy and their history, dialogue between theology and extra-theological sciences in the perception of ecclesiastical fields of action and religious forms of life, the relationship between popular culture and religion and interreligious dialogue. Gutmann retired in 2017.
