Harry Kane (athlete)

Harry Kane (born May 24, 1933 ) is a retired British hurdler and sprinter .

In 1954 he won silver over 440 yard hurdles for England starting at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver and was eliminated over 440 yards in the run-up. At the European Athletics Championships in Bern , he failed over 400 m hurdles in the first round.

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he reached the semifinals over 400 m hurdles.

In 1954 he became the English champion over the 440 yard hurdles.
