The company hash Incorporation , based in Vancouver (Washington) is the manufacturer of 3D graphics program Animation: Master . The company was founded in 1987 by Dr. Martin Hash founded and developed the first 3D animation software for the Amiga , also affordable for private individuals . The company later ported the computer program to the PC (Windows) as well as the Mac (OS X) and now offers one of the most cost-effective, proprietary 3D programs on the market. It is specially but not exclusively designed for character animation.
At the beginning, the company saw itself mainly as an animation film manufacturer that used and also sold the 3D program as an in-house tool, until a few years later it no longer produced its own films and specialized fully in software development.
This trend has been declining slightly since 2005.
particularities
Since 2005 the company has been running a large, voluntary community 3D project called The Woodman of Oz (or TWO for short ). While TWO was already in the rendering, work was being done on the successor Scarecrow of Oz ( SO for short ).
The two animated films are designed to fill the entire evening and, according to Dr. Hash can be just under 85 minutes long.
The big difference to other projects is the voluntary, unpaid or low-paid participation of up to 150 community members.
