Hasselblad Svenska Express

The Hasselblad Svenska Express was the first Hasselblad camera, it was produced between 1893 and 1913.

The plate camera, which had an optical see-through viewer and was produced by Hugo Svenson & Co. in Gothenburg , had two recording formats, 9 × 12 cm and 12 × 16.5 cm. The camera had a meniscus lens as a lens.

The box camera, which weighs around 500 grams, was sold by FW Hasselblatt & Co. Around 13,000 cameras were manufactured.
