The Concise Dictionary of Economics (HdWW) appeared in nine volumes and an index volume as the successor and at the same time as a new edition of the Concise Dictionary of Social Sciences (HDSW) from 1972 to 1983, published by the publishers Gustav Fischer, Stuttgart / New York, JCBMohr (Paul Siebeck ), Tübingen and Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, Göttingen / Zurich.
