Hot stamping device

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The hot stamping device , also known as a hotstamp , is a device for printing on cables , strands and hoses. It consists of the stamping wheels (one wheel is required for each point) and the stamping foil .

The embossing wheels are marked with the numbers 0 to 9 and letters A to Z (maximum 48 characters). There are font sizes from 1.2 mm to 2.3 mm. The number of embossing wheels can be up to 24 wheels. The wheels are rotatably mounted on an axle and you can set the desired character sequence. The wheels are heated and pressed onto the foil and the cable with pressure. This is done manually or fully automatically.
