Holiness (salutation)

Holiness (Latin: Sanctitas ) is a form of address for the highest religious dignitaries of various denominations or religions. It is mainly used for the head of the Roman Catholic Church , the Pope , and some patriarchs of the Orthodox Churches . The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople is addressed with All Holiness , the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia with Most Holiness . Outside of Christianity , the Dalai Lama is addressed with holiness .
