After the final factory closure in 2010, the factory buildings were demolished in 2012.

history

The porcelain factory was founded in 1898 as the Drechsel & Strobel porcelain factory . In 1901 the factory became the property of Richard Drechsel. When the Winterling family took over the factory, it had three round ovens, and two more were built by 1905. In 1906 around 200 workers found employment.

Products

The following were manufactured in 1906: utensils for domestic and export as coffee and tea services, dejeuners, cups, dessert and cake plates, butter dishes, set pots, candlesticks, etc. Sample stores were maintained in Hamburg, Berlin, Brussels and Amsterdam. The factory had its own painting and printing works.
