Heliane

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heliane is also a form of the female given name Helene , there is also an opera about it, namely " Das Wunder der Heliane ", by Erich Wolfgang Korngold . The origin of the name can be traced back to the Greek sun god Helios , which is why the name is sometimes translated as sun child, after which there was also a form of heliane in Roman antiquity, namely Aelianus, but this was a masculine first name and then came about Helian. There is also one form of Heliane in France: Helianne.
