Hermann J. Stern

Hermann J. Stern (born August 18, 1966 in Zurich ) is a Swiss economist , manager and business journalist .

Life

Stern received his doctorate in business ethics in 1996 with Peter Ulrich and Roland Kley at the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) and teaches in several executive education programs. He is the author of the books Das Value Cockpit and Market-Oriented Value Management , as well as numerous articles, including in the NZZ on the subject of leverage , in Harvard Businessmanager on the subject of compensation in family businesses and the impact of board compensation on the share price and interviews in the business magazines BBC, PUNKT and brand one. Stern runs a blog for self-investors on Obermatt.com and from January 2016 to February 2019 on Inside Paradeplatz, Zurich, Switzerland and is the founder of the indexed operational performance measurement .
