Mr Sonneborn goes to Brussels - Adventures in the European Parliament is a book by the satirist Martin Sonneborn . It was published in 2019 by the Cologne publisher Kiepenheuer & Witsch and reports on Sonneborn's time as a member of the European Parliament from 2014 to 2019 .

The main part of the book is divided into five chapters, each dealing with the individual years of the legislative period:

Sebastian Wolfrum, editor of the Badische Zeitung, recommends the book with the words “Sonneborn remains, mostly, factual and describes the normal madness of European politics. There is room for criticism and provocation. ”He also praises the“ predominantly intelligent humor ”and the will to“ political education ”.
