Schettnienen manor house

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schettnienen mansion was a castle in today's Schtschukino , which historically belonged to the Heiligenbeil district , East Prussia .

history

The manor house, a single-storey, two-storey plastered building with a sloping roof , dates from the middle of the 18th century, when Jakob von Laxdehnen owned the property as a pawn. After 1778 the estate was the seat of the Bronsart von Schellendorff , an old Prussian family.

Because of its construction and because of its art-historical furnishings, the manor house was a listed building .
