Herse (wife of Danaos)
Herse ( ancient Greek Ἕρση Hérsē ) is one of the wives of Danaos in Greek mythology , to whom she bore two daughters. Their traditional names are: Hippodike and Adiante .
After the mass wedding of the 50 daughters of Danaos with the 50 sons of Aegyptus , at which lot decided on the pairing, the daughters of Herse also killed their husbands on the wedding night.
