Hessian handicapped and rehabilitation sports association

The Hessian disability and rehabilitation Sports Association (HBRS) was established in 1951 as a Hessian-disabled sports federation founded. He turned to the war-torn men and women.

In 1990, when the name was changed to Hessischer Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association eV, the expansion of the sporting offer to include rehabilitation sport was also included in the name.

The HBRS works with the associations of health insurance companies and the Society for Prevention and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Diseases in Hessen .

The HBRS has a total of 46,500 members in 500 clubs in Hesse and is supported by the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and for Sport .
