High potential

High Potential (English for high potential) [- pəˈtɛnʃl] describes a junior employee who offers greater value for the company through special personal characteristics and skills. The university graduates usually get a significantly higher starting salary, which is due to above-average qualifications and because they are therefore relevant for management positions. The high motivation of high potentials is important for many companies, since investments in the professional development of young graduates pay off. The interdisciplinary thinking, which is indispensable for upper management decisions and operational activities, is pronounced.
