Hindustan Aeronautics Limited SC , HAL for short, is a football club from Bangalore , India . It is the association of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited company , which also gave it its name. He currently plays in the country's second division, the I-League 2nd Division . He plays his home games in the Bangalore Stadium. In 2005/06 the club took 3rd place in the 2nd league. However, since the champions of the 2nd division could not provide a professional team for the 1st division, HAL rose instead.
