The Hint Horozu (German: Indian rooster ), which originate from Turkey , are a widespread oriental fighting chicken breed . Their origins can be found in the Asil from India. The weight is 3–4.5 kg, its appearance is similar to the Asil and is not uniform in shape and color everywhere.

Due to their endurance and fighting technique, the Hint Horoz are popular in cockfights in Turkey. For the battlefield the Hint is also crossed with other fighting chicken breeds, mostly with Shamo , Brazilians and Argentinians .

The Hint is a widespread oriental fighting chicken breed in Europe, including in Cyprus, Greece and the Balkan countries there is Hint Horoz, and the Hint can also be found in Germany.
