Full rear axle deceleration

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rear axle full deceleration (HVV) is a term from vehicle braking technology.

function

The rear axle full deceleration is a reversal of the electronic brake force distribution EBV. The HVV ensures that the brake pressure on the rear axle is increased to such an extent that the ABS control on the rear axle begins to work.

effect

However, this only applies if the front axle is already in ABS control. The aim is to achieve the best possible braking effect while at the same time maintaining driving stability by keeping the brake slip on the front axle greater than that on the rear axle.
