The Hof zu Kroisbach is a Graz noble farm located on Unteren Plattenweg in the Mariatrost district . Its history goes back to the year 1544. The former property of the farm included some fields, meadows, vineyards and small wooded areas. There were no peasant subjects at the court.

history

The Edelhof was built in 1544 by Christof Adler von Gurnitz the Elder. Apparently, soon after its creation, the Edelhof became a simple farm under the administration of the Ratmannsdorfern. In 1634 Georg Freiherr von Ratmannsdorf sold the farm to Johann Paul Langen. This was later raised to the baron status. His son Johann Paul Freiherr von Lang sold the estate to Anna Maria Schmidin in 1677. From 1699 to 1712 it was owned by the Chamber Procurator of Pettenegg. After 1712 the estate became the property of the Teutonic Order . Around 1820 the farm belonged to Josef Naßfelder. Around 1840 the "Kroisbachhof" belonged to the court attorney from Graz, Dr. Franz Bayer (1799-1843).
