from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hof zu St. Peter is a former Graz noble farm . Its history goes back to the middle of the 16th century. By the end of the 17th century, the original Edelhof no longer existed.

history

The Hof zu St. Peter was built by Maruch Niesenberger in the middle of the 16th century. Niesenberger's grandson sold the farm in 1609 to Adam Kritteneck, which Veit Puetter and Blasius Sichler succeeded as owners. Due to tax debts, the property was seized in 1641 and passed to Johann Friedrich Step. When his son inherited the property in 1688, the original noble farm no longer existed, but only a mastership with the associated validities . In 1724 the estate came under the rule of Eggenberg . When Johann Max Edler von Pelikan acquired the property in 1728, it consisted only of fields, forests, vineyards and meadows. The farm came off before 1740.
